On May 30th, we were honored to present for graduation, 24 girls from our Think home, from 7 of the 15 counties.
We are grateful to donors from Samaritan’s Purse Germany, Canada and USA for supporting us with funding and gifts in kind. This cycle of girls has been a challenge, but we are very proud of them, and we ask for your prayers as they step out to begin a second chance in life.
We want to remember 10 year-old Mina Hallowanger, who made the jewelry I wore that day. She lost her battle with AIDS on February 27, 2010. Mina was a resident at our Juvenile Transit Center for a number of years. We pray that a cure can be found for AIDS in the near future.
We were honored by two special guests: Madam Katumu Boakai (wife of VP Boakai of Liberia) and Nigerian movie star, Tonto. Both gave encouraging words to the girls on this special day.

The pictures are awesome! What a grand celebration. God is so good!
I love the joy in these pictures, particularly, in the last picture, the smile of the girl with the blue headband. She is just precious. And on the purely ornamental end, my sister, Esther, and I both like Madame Bokai's dress - beautiful color and a great design.
I'm sure that graduation was a happy and sad event at the same time. Joy at having completed the Think Inc. course and sadness at the thought of having to leave the wonderful safe haven of Think.
Tell the girls we're interested in hearing how they get on and that we're praying for them.
